琼台师范学院是一所以培养培训小学教育和学前教育教师为主要任务的公立本科本科院校。琼台师范学院前身为建于1705年的琼台书院，如今已有300多年的历史。2016年教育部同意在琼台师范高等专科学校基础上建立琼台师范学院。 琼台师范学院共有两个校区，分别为府城校区与桂林洋校区；我校现有10000余名学生以及700多名教职人员。     我校现与英国、新西兰、乌克兰、俄罗斯等国家的高校建立合作，有来自俄罗斯、孟加拉、巴基斯坦等国的国际学生。 Qiongtai Normal University is a public institution of higher education, focusing on the teacher education for primary schools and kindergartens. Its predecessor is Qiongtai Acadamy founded in the year of 1705, and the university has so far a history of 300 years. With the approval of Ministry of Education, it has been upgraded into a university from a teacher college.  Our university has two campuses, Fucheng campus and Gui Lin Yang campus, covering an area of approximately 70 hectares. We have over than 10,000 students and 700 people of staff and faculty.  The university is always positive in seeking opportunities in establishing cooperations with univerisities, colleges and institutions in countries such as Britain, Newzealand, Ukrain and Russia. We have international students from Russia, Bangledash, Pakistan.
